Liberation war is the most glorious event of Bengali nation. It is through this war that we have gained an independent country, our own flag. On March 26, 1971, the people of the then East Pakistan from all walks of life, including students, youth, farmers and workers, entered into an armed war against the barbaric invading of Pakistani army. As a result, the final victory was achieved on December 16, 1971. A name is engraved on the map of the world - 'Independent Sovereign Bangladesh'.
