Friends In Village Development Bangladesh (FIVDB) is a development organization established in 1979. The basic objectives of the organization are to empower the disadvantaged women, men and children to contribute in the reduction of poverty, protection and regeneration of eco-system and environment. Approaches include education, social organization building, financial service, health, livelihood and food security etc.
FIVDB envisions a vibrant society based on justice, equity, democracy and environmentally sound principles.
Our mission is to give disadvantaged women, men and children a greater voice; reduce their vulnerability, increase their use of citizenship rights and help them enhance their quality of life.
